Had a yahoo instant message at 5:30am from April in the 'boro. "Did you feel that?!!" Apparently, at 4:40am she felt the earthquake that came out of Evansville, IN. That Lodrane 24 has me sleeping like a log so I don't feel or hear anything. Leland Statum said that he had calls out of Atlanta from people asking if it really was an earthquake that they felt. Thank God nobody was hurt.
I was not surprised at all when the news announced last night that Air McNair is retiring. To me he retired the day he had to put on the Raven's uniform. He's been banged up a lot over the years. Before he left the Titans he said in an interview that he wants to retire early enough so that he's able to still throw a football to his son without pain. He's doing just that. I will never forget his scramblings in the 4th quarters with the 2 minute warning hitting Mason for a touch down. His timing with "DeMase" seemed like a rehearsed ballet performance. A question was posed on the news as to whether he should come back here, be VY's back up & mentor him. I say, let him throw only to his son now. :)
Thanks, Steve, for getting us on our feet in the final minutes of the 4th quarters!
