No Pain

For the last couple of days, no shin pain. (no running & NO walking!)
I pray to God that the X-ray will show big time healing on July 17th. :)
Everyone's finger's better be crossed, ok?

After I leave Bell Buckle tomorrow, I've got Hannah's reception to attend at Ellendale's. It looks like a nice place. She's booked it for 50 people & told me to bring someone but I hate to ask anyone at the last minute. She's doing a beach theme in there since they did get married May 17th on Coco Beach. (Should be cool!)

I'm hoping to find time to find a bathing suit that fits my water running routine this weekend. Every suit except one is too loose in the water. I felt like I was dragging my red one behind me & the brown one wasn't much better. (Guess I need more of a snug fitting suit, eh?)

I'm looking forward to seeing my Kirby (massage therapist) after work.
She will die when I tell her about the shin. :(
I'm looking forward to an easy 1 hr on the elliptical after my massage even though I should probably do the bike, too. (I finally left my "hole" during lunch for mexican & I feel guilty!)
I've really been good during the week with my eating.

Good Luck to everyone running (or biking) tomorrow. I pray the rain holds off. If not, pretend it's Tom King '08 all over again. :P Just have fun!

More weekend stuff...

Arlene was given a shower in Gladeville off 840 Sat afternoon. I'm not even going to describe the cake the hostess made because it's a male body part so you all know...ha!
It was nice meeting some of the people she works with or has worked with... She & I met like 10 yrs ago when we worked together in the Purchasing/Procurement Dept of the TN Correction Academy in Tullahoma. (No it's not a prison. They just train people to work in prisons.)
I spent 7 yrs at this job & Arlene is one of the most precious people that I met through that place. Some people you just click with & I'm lucky to know her. I'll be going to her wedding next Sunday.

I had taken Reiko with me to the shower & she had fun. We had made plans with April in Murfreesboro at Mimi's Cafe. Nice night for eating on the patio. Next Sat, we may go back there & actually drink a hurricane. I've been there a couple of times & the hurricanes taste just like they do in New Orleans. Yum!!!



Fast forward back today:
We had an adventurous little jaunt in Bell Buckle. As we left, Chris drove us through Wartrace. The Walking Horse hotel has a restaurant that I want to go to one day when NOT sweaty. I took this photo below of their advertisment outside. :P

Reiko & I did go back for a late lunch at the Bell Buckle Cafe so she could check out the shops.


Busy weekend & I'm tired. Looking forward to the season finale of "Desperate Housewives" tonight. (not answering cell for 2 hrs!) ha!

I just noticed that Bon Jovi is on "60 Minutes" tonight. Looks like footage from the Nashville concert in the previews. Cool!!!
